  • 1.54 lbsrohu fish, cut into steaks
    or similar river fish
  • 2.03 fl ozmustard oil
  • 2 mediumonions, sliced
  • 2 tbspginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tspturmeric powder
  • 2 tspred chili powder
  • 1 tbspcoriander powder
  • 1 tspcumin powder
  • 4 piecesgreen chilies, slit lengthwise
  • 1 largetomato, chopped
  • 6.78 fl ozcoconut milk
  • 12 leavescurry leaves
  • 1 tspnigella seeds
  • 2 tbspfenugreek leaves, dried
  • 2 tspsalt
  • 1.07 ozcilantro, chopped

Instructions

    Marinate fish with turmeric and salt for 15 minutes.

    Fry fish pieces until golden on both sides. Remove and set aside.
